Charles Darwin School promotes high standards of behaviour, self-discipline and learning through positive encouragement and reward.

When students do something well, teachers will recognise this by speaking to them in class, writing positive feedback on work and giving high marks. This could include a good note in a student's planner.

Particular effort or achievement is rewarded by Achievement Points. Achievement points totals are communicated home via ‘Satchel One’ and on school reports, with leaders across the school named in ‘The Link’ newsletter.

 Students collect Achievement points across Year 7-11 : Aspire points (for directing hopes or ambitions to achieve something through commitment and/or leadership); Endeavour points (for trying hard to do or achieve something) and Achieve points (for successfully bringing about or reaching a desired result).
